Run the businessside of music
Setdesk is the diary for a booking agency, a manager or a self-managed artist. A booking holds its contract, its invoice, its advance sheet and its fee, and the promoter opens each one from a link.
The diary
Every artist, one month
Every artist on one month grid, each show in the state its booking is in: an enquiry outlined, a hold dashed, a confirmed show filled, a contract's check, a settled fee in green. Two holds on one date are marked as a clash, and a second confirmed booking for the same artist on the same date is refused by the database. The same month is on your phone, with tonight at the top.

Contracts and invoices
Written from the booking
A booking starts as an enquiry or a hold and moves through confirmed, contracted, completed and settled. Its contract is written from the booking's own terms and its invoice is numbered in sequence with VAT stated, so nothing is typed twice, and the advance sheet, the itinerary and the calendar entry sit on the same page.

Money
Fee, commission, net
The money page reads the same records as the diary: the fee, the commission and the net for every booking, with the forecast, the commission owed and anything overdue at the top. A foreign fee shows in its own currency with the rand beside it, and whether a member sees money at all is a permission the database enforces.

The promoter's side
A link, no account
Sending a contract makes a link that opens the agreement as a page and as a PDF. The link is one of a kind, it expires after thirty days and it can be revoked from the booking. Invoices and advance sheets travel the same way, and an invoice can be paid by card from its page. The product's own agreement wording is a draft under legal review, so signing opens once it is settled; an agency on Pro can attach its own agreement instead.

Promos and demos
An answer in one tap
A promo is a private streaming page per recipient, with no account on their side. The workspace sees who opened it, who played it and how far, track by track, and each recipient answers in one tap: playing it, might play it, not for me. The master is offered only to the people you choose, and only after they answer. Demos come the other way: Send a demo on your public page lands one in your demo inbox, where it stays streamable for 14 days.

Who it is for
Three desks, one diary
Plans limit how many artists, people and campaigns a workspace runs, never which features it gets. A self-managed artist grows into an agency without moving anything.
- See the Agency plan
The roster
A booking agency
You hold a roster's dates in your head and a promoter on the phone. Setdesk puts every artist on one month grid, refuses a second confirmed booking on the same date, and writes the contract and the invoice from the booking's own terms.
- Start on Free
The act and the office
A self-managed artist
You are the act and the office: the enquiry, the fee, the invoice and the chasing. The whole product runs for one artist on the free plan, with a public page at your handle that takes enquiries and demos.
- See the Pro plan
The release and the roster
A label or a manager
You have a release going out and a list of people who should hear it first. A promo is a private streaming page per recipient, and each one answers in one tap: playing it, might play it, not for me.
What it refuses
What the code refuses
Each of these is enforced in the database or the storage layer, not in a checkbox on a screen.
- 01It refuses a second confirmed booking for the same artist on the same date: an exclusion constraint in the database, not a warning on the screen.
- 02It refuses to show one workspace another workspace's rows: row level security on every table, beneath the application's own checks.
- 03It refuses to serve a file from a public address: every PDF and every master lives on R2 and is fetched through a signed link that lasts minutes.
- 04It refuses to change a contract or a fee without a record: an audit log takes the before and the after of every contract and money event.
- 05It refuses to keep what a person asks to have back: a contact's record can be exported or erased under POPIA from the contact page, and a member can delete their own account from settings.
The security page says how each of these is built.
Pricing
One artist is free
R499.00 a month for a roster and a team, R1 499.00 for an agency of any size. Every feature is on every plan; the price follows how many artists, people and campaigns you run, nothing else.
Every workspace starts on Free, with no card. When the second artist or the second seat arrives, the plan changes in settings and nothing you have is touched; if a payment ever fails, the workspace drops back to Free and nothing is deleted.
Prices include VAT.
Start with next month's shows
Sign in with your email; a code does the rest, and there is no card to enter. An empty diary offers a sample month, so you can read a working desk before you type your first booking.
